Welcome to Happy Hands Yarn. We are dedicated to ensuring your complete satisfaction with every purchase. This return and refund policy outlines a simple and transparent process for returning items. It applies to all orders shipped within the United States.
Return Eligibility
- We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products.
- Returns are accepted only for items in new condition, which means unopened, unused, with original packaging and all tags intact.
- Return requests must be made within 180 days of the delivery date.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please email us at support@happyhandsyarn.com within 180 days of receiving your order. Include the following information:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Description of the issue (if applicable)
- Photos or videos of the product (if applicable)
- Your preference for a refund or exchange
After reviewing your request, we will issue a return authorization. Returns without prior authorization may be rejected.
Return Shipping
- Return shipping is free of charge for defective or damaged items; a prepaid return label is included in your package.
- For non-defective returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a tracked shipping method to ensure the safe return of your package. We are not liable for lost or damaged returns during shipping.
Refund Processing
- Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 2 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.
- Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 10–15 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are accepted for defective or damaged products and are subject to stock availability.
- To request an exchange, follow the return process and specify your exchange preference.
Non-Eligible Returns
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Used, washed, or altered items
- Items missing original packaging or tags
- Products with minor defects that can be easily fixed (e.g., loose threads)
- Items damaged due to customer misuse or neglect
Order Cancellations
- Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement.
- Cancellations after this period are not possible if the order has already shipped.
- A 10% cancellation fee applies for cancellations within the 24-hour window.
- To cancel, email us at support@happyhandsyarn.com with your order number, full name, and reason for cancellation.
Important Notes
- All returned items must be in their original, unused condition to qualify for refunds or exchanges.
- We are not responsible for damages occurring during return shipping; please ensure packages are securely packed.
- Unauthorized returns may be rejected.
