Welcome to Happy Hands Yarn. We are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with every purchase. Our return and refund policy provides a transparent and easy process for you to follow in case you need to return an item. This policy is applicable to all orders shipped within the United States.
Return Eligibility
- We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products.
- Returns are accepted for items in new condition only, meaning they must be unopened, unused, and in the original packaging with all tags intact.
- Returns must be requested within 180 days from the delivery date.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us via email at support@happyhandsyarn.com within 180 days of receiving your order. Please include the following details in your email:
- Your name
- Order number
- Description of the issue (if applicable)
- Photos/videos of the product (if applicable)
- Your preference for either a refund or exchange
Once we have received your request, we will review it and provide you with a return authorization. Returns without prior authorization may be rejected.
Return Shipping
- Return shipping is free for defective or damaged products.
- If you are returning a non-defective product, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a tracked shipping method to return items, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages during the return shipping process.
Refund Processing
- Once your return is received, it will be inspected, and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Refunds will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the returned item.
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- It may take 10-15 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank.
Exchanges
- We accept exchanges for products that are defective or damaged.
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
- If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process outlined above and specify the exchange request in your communication.
Non-Eligible Returns
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for the following items:
- Used, washed, or altered items
- Items missing original packaging or tags
- Products with minor defects that can be easily fixed (e.g., loose threads)
- Items damaged by customer misuse or neglect
Order Cancellations
- Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement.
- Cancellations after this time are not possible if the order has already been shipped.
- A 10% cancellation fee of the total order value will apply for cancellations made within the 24-hour window.
- To cancel your order, email us at support@happyhandsyarn.com with your order number, full name, and reason for cancellation.
Important Notes
- All returned items must be in their original, unused condition to qualify for a refund or exchange.
- We are not responsible for damages that occur during return shipping, so please ensure the package is properly secured.
- Unauthorized returns may be rejected.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- For international orders, please be aware that different policies may apply.
