At Happy Hands Yarn, your satisfaction is our top priority. We accept returns and exchanges for most products in accordance with U.S. e-commerce regulations. This policy applies exclusively to customers within the United States.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Product Condition: Only new items are eligible for return or exchange. Products must be unopened, unused, unwashed, and include all original tags and packaging.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or order confirmation, is required.

Return Window

Returns must be initiated within 180 days from the date you receive your order. This return period may be extended during certain holiday seasons.

Return Method & Shipping Fees

  • Returns are accepted by mail only. We do not accept returns in-store or at drop-off locations.
  • For defective or damaged items, a prepaid return shipping label is included in your package, and return shipping is free of charge.
  • For non-defective returns, customers are responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise noted.

Return Process

To begin a return, please contact us at support@happyhandsyarn.com with:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs (if applicable)
  • Your preference for a refund or exchange

Steps to Complete Your Return:

  1. Request return approval via email.
  2. Include a printout of your purchase confirmation inside the return package.
  3. Ship the item via a local courier to the return address provided in the approval email.
  4. Provide us with the tracking number.
  5. Wait for confirmation—once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the returned product. Please note that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges for eligible products that meet the return conditions outlined above.

Non-Returnable Items

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Customized products containing customer-submitted text or images with errors
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
  • Products that have been used, washed, or damaged due to customer handling

Fraud Prevention

To protect against abuse, orders flagged as high-risk may require identity verification before processing a return. Failure to verify identity may result in order cancellation.
