Overview

At Happy Hands Yarn, your satisfaction is our priority. We accept returns and exchanges for most products in compliance with U.S. e-commerce guidelines. This policy applies to customers located in the United States only.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products under the following conditions:

Product Condition

  • Only new items are eligible for return or exchange
  • Products must be unopened, unused, unwashed, and have original tags and packaging intact
  • A valid proof of purchase (sales receipt or order confirmation) must be provided

Return Window

  • You must initiate a return within 180 days of receiving your order
  • Return windows may be extended during certain holiday seasons

Return Methods

  • Returns are accepted by mail only
  • Returns cannot be made in-store or at drop-off locations

Return Process

To initiate a return, contact us at support@happyhandsyarn.com with the following:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs (if applicable)
  • Your preference for a refund or exchange

Steps to Complete Your Return:

  1. Request approval via email
  2. Include a printout of your purchase confirmation in the package
  3. Ship your return via a local courier to the return address provided
  4. Provide us with the tracking number
  5. Await confirmation—we will email you once your return has been received and inspected

Return Costs

  • For defective or damaged products, we provide a prepaid return label—return shipping is free
  • For non-defective returns, customers are responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise stated

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 2 business days
  • It may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider

Exchanges

  • We accept exchanges for eligible products meeting the return conditions listed above

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Customized products with customer-submitted text or images that include errors
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
  • Products that have been used, washed, or damaged due to customer handling

Fraud Prevention

To prevent abuse, orders that are flagged as high-risk may require identity verification before a return is processed. Failure to verify may result in cancellation.
